Meet Christine!

Hi, I'm Christine! I am a wife, mom, and student, just trying to keep up with the "Organized Chaos" in my house! I love coffee, whiskey, and all things Target.

I have been married to my husband Darren for almost 12 years. I have always loved our story of how we met. I worked at Starbucks and he worked as a police officer in town. I served him coffee for who knows how long before he asked me out for a drink one night. The rest is history! We have 3 children together. Robbie (11) Connor(9) and Taylor (6) and Darren has 2 children from a previous marriage. I say children, but they are adults now!

When Connor was born, we decided that childcare was so expensive and our schedules were just not working anymore. We did years of me working during the day, walking in the door, and him walking out the door for the afternoon shift. It sucked, but we did what we had to to make it work. One day we decided we needed a change. If it meant cutting down on expenses, vacations, etc. it would totally work for me to become a stay a stay at home mom. So thats what I did.  I decided 7 years into it that I wanted to go back to school and work on my degree in early childhood. I signed up for classes, and then covid hit. I was home with 3 children, with full-time classes and online college courses. To say some days was a shit show, wouldn't fully describe it. But we made it through! After 8 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I went back to work as an assistant preschool teacher and graduated from community college. For some reason, (maybe it was sleep deprivation) I wanted to add more to my plate and keep going. So now I am working on my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.

Follow along with me as I go through this crazy rollercoaster ride of parenting, being a wife, a teacher and this thing called life! I tell it how it is, I'm real. I swear sometimes. But mostly I just want other moms to know that others are going through the same craziness and you're not alone!

What I like to share!

I like to share topics that will get you through your day. Activities for you and your family to do. Crafts for the little ones. Recipes for dinners, desserts and holidays. Things that look great on Pinterest, but will more than likely become an epic fail. Date night ideas. Tips on Vacations or weekend trips. Coffee and booze recipes! I got you!
